What we hold, and what you can do about it.
DriveKeeper is a maintenance log. It needs to know about your car and how to reach you, and it is built so that is all it ever knows. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party script on any page.

What is stored
- Your email address, because it is how you sign in — there is no password to store.
- Your vehicles: nickname, registration plate, VIN, make, model, year, colour, fuel type and the dates you enter. A plate or a VIN identifies a vehicle and therefore a person, so both are treated as personal data.
- Mileage readings and service history, including anything you write in a note.
- Preferences: units, country, timezone and the hour you want reminders.
- Notification details you choose to add: a browser push subscription, or a Telegram bot token and chat id. The bot token is a credential you created and can revoke from Telegram at any time.
- Ordinary server logs kept by our hosts, which include IP addresses.
Why, and on what basis
Your vehicles, readings and history are processed to provide the service you asked for — the contract between us. Reminders are sent on the channels you switch on, and switching one off stops it. Security logs are kept on the basis of legitimate interest in running the service safely.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is used to profile or advertise to you.
Where it lives
The database is hosted by Supabase in Ireland (eu-west-1), so your data stays in the European Union.
Who else processes it
- Supabase — database, authentication and the server functions. EU region.
- Cloudflare — DNS, hosting and email forwarding for info@drivekeeper.net.
- Polar — payments. Polar is the merchant of record, so it handles the purchase and the tax on it. We never see your card details.
- Telegram — only if you connect a bot, and only the reminder text is sent.
- Apple, Google or Mozilla — whichever push service your browser uses, if you turn on push notifications.
Cookies
There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only thing stored in your browser is your sign-in session and a copy of your own screens, kept so the app opens quickly. Both are strictly necessary, and both are cleared when you sign out.
How long
Your data is kept while your account exists. Delete a vehicle and it goes immediately, along with its readings and history — there is no hidden copy. Delete your account and everything goes with it. Host logs are kept for a short period by Supabase and Cloudflare under their own policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, and take it elsewhere. Two of those do not need us at all:
- Get it all back — Settings → Your data → Export. One JSON file with every vehicle, reading and service record.
- Delete everything — Settings → Account → Delete your account. Immediate and irreversible.
For anything else, email info@drivekeeper.net. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
Sign-in is passwordless, so there is no password of yours to leak. Traffic is encrypted in transit, every request checks that the data belongs to you before returning it, and the app loads no code from anywhere else.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date above moves.
